FPSO John Agyekum Kufuor Achieves First Oil in May 2017

In the last 10 years, Ghana has become a growing producer of the world’s oil and gas, from the time crude oil was first discovered in its Jubilee Oilfield. Since then, thousands of new jobs and economic opportunities have been created for Ghanaians.

We are proud to play a role in this journey through operating the FPSO John Agyekum Kufuor, chartered by ENI Ghana Exploration & Production Ltd. and customized and delivered by Keppel Offshore and Marine Ltd. .

The vessel will process oil and gas from the Offshore Cape Three Points (OCTP) block located offshore Ghana, and is expected to supply power to Ghana for the next 15 years, contributing significantly to the country’s energy needs and economic growth.
