Senior Executive / Assistant Manager, Group Corporate Secretary

Key Responsibilities

​This position requires you to be involved in corporate secretarial services to the board of directors, shareholders and senior management. This role requires you to provide secretarial support for corporate exercise including ensuring accuracy of the information in the documents and compliance with the statutory requirements. As a company secretary, you are required to liaise with external regulator, advisor, legal counsel as well as auditor. Your responsibilities include the following:

  • Assist and support in pre and post requirements for Board and Board Committees Meetings.
  • Compile board and board committee papers, minutes, resolutions and statutory documents and ensure that the decisions of the Board of Directors are implemented accordingly.
  • Ensure completion/lodgement of statutory forms, returns and reports and the Company's compliance obligations under the relevant laws/regulations.
  • Ensure best principles of corporate governance and compliance with statutory/regulatory requirements.

Specific Qualifications Required

  • ICSA qualification with 3-5 years working experience in company secretarial functions.
  • Well verse in Companies Act 1965 and other related laws and regulations.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Good interpersonal skills and capable to communicate with all levels.
