The 2019 Local Content Conference held in Takoradi, Ghana, marked Yinson’s second consecutive year of contribution towards the programme. The annual event took place from 20th to 22nd November this year with Yinson coming in as a Silver sponsor.
Themed “Maximizing in-country Value Addition: the role of indigenous Ghanaian Companies (IGCs) in Joint Ventures (JVs) in the Upstream Petroleum Sector”, the event which lasted three days saw the presence of nine Yinsonites from our Accra and Oslo offices.
The event was organized by the Petroleum Commission Ghana which regulates, manages and coordinates upstream petroleum activities and other support services in the petroleum sector. Yinson’s participation and sponsorship of this event represents an initiative that is in accordance with our drive to contribute to and introduce positive developments in our host communities.
