Yinson has donated 7 units of oxygen concentrators to the Zanskar Health Care and Sowa Rigpa Research Institute, located in the Ladakh region of India. The contribution was delivered just as the Delta variant of Covid-19 struck the country in July 2021. Yinson directed the effort to this remote area in India where medical equipment is in extremely short supply.

The oxygen concentrators provide higher oxygen flow for patients, which can be used to treat a variety of respiratory conditions, including those caused by Covid-19. All 7 units were received in good condition despite the long and arduous journey.

The Secretary of the Zanskar Health Care and Sowa Rigpa Research Institute, Jigme Wangdue expressed their gratitude in a letter stating, “This institute is very much grateful to you and your company for this invaluable contribution of 7 units of oxygen concentrators which have been received through Himalayan Cultural Centre, Lajpat Nagar New Delhi.”
