Yinson held its 28th Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) in full virtual proceedings today. In light of the nationwide full movement control order in Malaysia and subsequent revised guidelines from Securities Commission Malaysia, the entire meeting was organised remotely and conducted via live streaming through an online meeting platform, Securities Services e-Portal.
The presence of Yinson’s Board of Directors and other essential personnel were broadcasted live to the online meeting platform as well.
This is Yinson’s second consecutive year carrying out a virtual AGM. All proceedings, from the planning stage to the execution of the virtual event, were conducted in full compliance with all applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and guidelines in order to protect the wellbeing of all participants.
All virtually attending shareholders and proxies were able to participate and vote online via Remote Participation and Voting (“RPV”) facilities, after having registered online. All resolutions as set out in the Notice of AGM dated 31 May 2021 were duly approved during the meeting.
