On 8 November 2024, Yinson Singapore participated in the SGX Cares Bull Charge Charity Run, a flagship fundraising event hosted by the Singapore Exchange (SGX) at Marina Barrage. This marks our second year of participation in this event, which unites corporations and individuals to raise funds for charitable organisations, demonstrating the power of collective action in driving positive societal change.
The day started with the 3km Chief Challenge, proudly represented by Yinson Production’s Senior Vice President of Human Resources, Håvard Johansen. This was followed by the 5km individual run, where 60 Yinsonites participated with enthusiasm. Extending the spirit of inclusivity, we also invited family members of employees to join the event, making it a truly memorable experience for everyone.
As a Gold Bull Sponsor, Yinson contributed SGD50,000, which will go towards supporting five organisations: AWWA Ltd, Autism Association (Singapore), Fei Yue Community Services, HCSA Community Services, and Shared Services for Charities.
Håvard Johansen expressed his gratitude after completing the Chief Challenge, saying, “We are proud to participate in this meaningful initiative that underscores our commitment to community engagement and social responsibility. Events like these align with Yinson’s sustainability goals and values of building stronger, more inclusive communities.”
This event is part of SGX’s broader Cares Bull Charge initiative, which has raised over SGD50 million for more than 50 charities since 2004 through events such as Charity Gold and Charity Futsal.
Through our participation, Yinson reaffirms our commitment to creating a lasting impact in the communities we serve, as part of our 30 by 30 sustainability goals. We look forward to future collaborations that enable us to contribute to a better, more resilient society.
