On 17 September 2020, Yinson’s General Counsel, Group Legal, Mr Andrew Choy, participated as a panel speaker at FYIstival: The African Edition – a business festival organised by the Singapore Business Federation.

Andrew joined three other panellist from Mixta Africa, Ecodi Ghana and Patisen to discuss the topic ‘Spotlighting opportunities for doing business in West Africa’. The panel shared on manufacturing and consumerism in Nigeria, with the purpose of enhancing understanding on opportunities in West Africa for oil & gas, housing and infrastructure development, fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) and manufacturing sectors.

The event, which was co-organised by Enterprise Singapore, was conducted virtually. It was well attended by Singapore companies who are looking at business expansion plans or deepening their market presence.
