Yinson Production concluded its final two exhibitions of the year in Africa — Africa Oil Week (AOW) 2025 and African Energy Week (AEW) 2025 — marking a strong close to an impactful year of engagement across the continent.

Held in Accra, Ghana, from 6 to 10 October, AOW 2025 served as a key platform for Yinson Production to advance its mission of coupling energy production with sustainability. The event highlighted the company’s achievements in FPSO innovation, low-carbon operations and renewable energy integration, while fostering meaningful dialogue with regulators, industry leaders, and community representatives.

A major highlight was the participation of Naa Opoku-Agyeman, Managing Director of Yinson Production Ghana, in the panel discussion “Empowering Communities: Local Content, Capacity Development and Sustainable Growth.” Naa underscored the importance of investing in local talent, promoting skills transfer and creating inclusive opportunities that deliver lasting value to the communities where Yinson operates.

Earlier in the month, Yinson Production took part in African Energy Week 2025, held in Cape Town, South Africa, from 29 September to 3 October. The event brought together stakeholders shaping Africa’s energy transition, providing Yinson an opportunity to share insights on innovation, collaboration and sustainability within the offshore production sector.

Paal Gunnar Heistad, Senior Vice President of Business Development, participated in the panel “A New Era of FPSOs: Agogo and Abigail-Joseph,” discussing how Yinson combines technical expertise, collaborative project execution and sustainable design to deliver efficient offshore solutions. Titus de Greeff, Head of Corporate Finance for the Western Hemisphere, contributed to “Energy Finance Strategies: Lessons Across Africa,” highlighting financing models and partnerships that support bankable, sustainable energy projects across the continent.

Yinson Production’s presence at both AOW and AEW 2025 reinforces its role as a long-term, trusted partner in Africa’s evolving energy landscape. These engagements demonstrate the company’s deepening commitment to deliver reliable offshore production, advance decarbonisation initiatives, and create meaningful local opportunities through partnerships, capacity building and sustainable growth.

With a growing footprint across multiple African regions, Yinson Production continues to align its expertise and technology with the continent’s development goals, contributing to a resilient, inclusive and sustainable energy future.
