Yinson Holdings Berhad has been conferred silver at the Australasian Reporting Awards (ARA) 2022 in acknowledgement of the high standards of reporting reflected in its 2021 Annual Report themed ‘Rising Beyond’.
The ARA provides an international benchmark in reporting and reflects the substance of the GRI Sustainability Reporting Guidelines. The award reflects Yinson’s ability to provide a balanced and reasonable picture of its economic, environmental, and social performance whilst addressing issues of concern to stakeholders.
“As a growing global energy infrastructure provider, the support of all our stakeholders are crucial. Through our continuing efforts to improve our disclosures, we aim to provide stakeholders with a clearer picture of our outlook and strategies to help them make informed decisions about the Group. This award is a testament of Yinson’s ongoing efforts to build stakeholder confidence and to continue creating sustainable value to all shareholders,” said Yinson Group Chief Executive Officer Lim Chern Yuan.
The ARA is organised by Australasian Reporting Awards Limited, an independent not-for-profit organisation run by volunteer professionals from the business, government and not-for-profit sectors, with support from organisations concerned with the quality of business and financial reporting. The Awards provide organisations an opportunity to benchmark their reports against ARA criteria, which are based on global best practices.
