Yinson has been recognised at the Global Good Governance Awards 2022 (“3G Awards”) for its stellar demonstration of sustainability leadership as well as its contribution to innovating green solutions. The Group’s efforts were acknowledged in two separate categories namely the 3G Leadership in Sustainability Award 2022, and 3G Excellence in Green Innovation and Solutions Award 2022.
The 3G Leadership in Sustainability Award honours organisations that have demonstrated outstanding contributions in financial inclusion and undertaken initiatives to broaden access to finance, whereas the 3G Excellence in Green Innovation and Solutions Award celebrates institutions that have innovated eco-friendly products, facilities and services to improve the environmental conditions and encourage the use of natural resources, contributing to sustainable development.
The awards were presented at the Global Good Governance Summit 2022 held at the Conrod Hotel, Dubai, to 30 winners from over 15 different countries. Yinson Assistant Manager Group Corporate Sustainability Ms Gan Wei Sim accepted the award on behalf of Yinson with key personnel from the FPSO Atlanta project also in attendance.

The Global Good Governance Awards is a premier awards programme that highlights organisations with good governance and commitment to sustainability and social welfare. Organised by Cambridge IFA, the awards are graded on the ‘3G Card’ which is based on the 5 pillars of Transparency, Social Responsibility, Sustainability, Impact and Innovation. The data collected is subjected to multiple levels of independent reviews by the selection committee to ensure the highest level of integrity is kept. The award committee comprises of diverse members from the corporate, social and government.
