Yinson is pleased to present our Annual Report for the financial year ended (FYE) 31 January 2022. This Report themed Purpose Driven, aims to provide a concise and transparent overview of our ability to create sustainable value for our stakeholders.
Purpose Driven reflects how we remained focused in FYE 2022, in close adherence to our strategic framework. Under the banner of our Vision, Mission and Core Values, our direction is driven by a firm sustainability mindset, a deep desire to create sustainable value for all our stakeholders and a strong resolve to be an industry leader in the global fight against climate change.
Lim Han Weng, Founder & Group Executive Chairman said, “Amid the trials and uncertainties that the world experienced, 2021 was a fruitful year as Yinson achieved our strongest financial performances since we were founded and made significant inroads on our sustainability journey. This is made possible with the trust placed in us by our clients, vendors and partners. I would like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt appreciation to all who have contributed immensely towards the success of this Annual Report. It is a combined effort from all teams across the Group to ensure that we add value for our stakeholders through enhanced transparency of our Report.”
Lim Chern Yuan, Group Chief Executive Officer commented, “We believe this is our most robust Annual Report as it details how we have gone the extra mile to generate value for our stakeholders across our value chain. In this Report, our Senior Management team has provided in-depth commentary and their thought processes behind the decisions made. Our Report also emphasised on improving connectivity by aligning disclosures on our Capitals to our refreshed material topics to create greater clarity on how we manage our risks and opportunities. This also marks the fourth year since we first embarked on our Integrated Reporting journey. Building on the foundation of our previous learnings, we hope that the improvement in our disclosures this year will help our stakeholders, including Yinsonites, to have a better understanding of our business, strategy, outlook, and impacts, to facilitate informed decision making about the Group. We continue to enhance the quality and coverage of our disclosure to be more balance, comparable and meaningful aligning with international standards.
