Yinson GreenTech, the green technologies division of Yinson, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (“MoU”) with Cyberview Sdn Bhd (“Cyberview”), a leading global technology hub developer, to develop a Smart Mobility ecosystem in Cyberjaya, Malaysia.
Under the agreement, both parties aim to collaborate to implement smart mobility technologies such as Electrification of Vehicles, Autonomous Vehicles, Mobility-as-a-Service and Intelligent Transport Systems in Cyberjaya. The collaboration supports Cyberjaya’s ambition to establish itself as a global tech hub and preferred investment location for technology companies.
The collaboration leverages on YGT’s position as a green technologies solution provider, in particular its ability to deliver a clean, integrated and technology-enhanced mobility ecosystem, as well as Cyberview’s position the tech hub developer of Cyberjaya.
The signing of the MoU took place at YGT’s new office and research facility in Cyberjaya. The event, which also marked the official opening of the premise, was attended by senior management and employees from both Cyberview and Yinson.

Part of a larger revitalising Cyberjaya initiative involves the introduction of a masterplan that focuses on emerging technologies and the applications of these technologies in three areas, including smart mobility. “We considered the entire mobility ecosystem in the design, including the participation of leading players within the space. Thus, the collaboration with YGT will provide a significant headway in the operationalising of the masterplan. YGT’s strength and commitment in smart mobility technologies can now be leveraged and directly deployed in Cyberjaya,” explains Datuk Mohd Najib Dato’ Ibrahim, Cyberview Managing Director. This MoU signifies our shared intent in moving towards a more sustainable future and YGT’s expertise in enabling transition to low-carbon environment through smart mobility will provide a definitive edge for Cyberjaya, he added.
