Yinson is honoured to have won the ‘Best Treasury Transformation Project’ category at Adam Smith Awards Asia 2022 (“the Awards”), which is recognised globally as a benchmark of achievement in the corporate treasury space.

This award recognises Yinson’s successful implementation of SwiftNet FileAct Connectivity solution and Interest Enhancement Facility (“IEF”), in partnership with HSBC Malaysia, Treasury Management System (“TMS”) Consultancy, Azzana and TMS vendor, GTreasury. The solutions are a reflection of Yinson’s overall digitalisation journey across all its businesses and functions. The corporate treasury solutions were able to enhance the Group’s financial governance, improve decision-making processes and improve connectivity between various offices and stakeholders.

The Awards received 416 submissions from 23 countries this year, and represents the very best and brightest treasury achievements spanning a broad spectrum of company sizes, locations and industries. Some of the criteria for the Awards include requiring nominees to demonstrate best practice and/or innovation, as evidenced by optimal account or treasury structure, quantitative improvements in efficiency, and/or tailor-made solutions.

Yinson’s Head of Corporate Treasury, Ong Ken Yong received the award on behalf of Yinson at the celebration dinner held at Raffles Hotel in Singapore. He commented on the win, “We are honoured to be recognised for the successful implementation of our treasury transformation projects.
