Yinson was announced as the Diversity Champion at the LinkedIn Talent Awards Malaysia 2022 for companies with between 1,000 and 5,000 employees.

The Awards are a data-driven recognition presented by LinkedIn based on companies’ utilisation of LinkedIn Talent Solutions and activities on the LinkedIn platform. This edition of the Awards recognises companies that led the future of work in 2022 by demonstrating remarkable adaptability, innovation and creativity. The Diversity Champion category recognises companies who initiated and inspired meaningful conversations around Diversity, Inclusion, Belonging & Equity.

Yinson was recognised as a Diversity Champion alongside Alliance for Financial Inclusion (below 1,000 employees), Maxis (5,000 – 10,000 employees) and Petronas (above 10,000 employees).

Yinson Group Chief Human Resources Officer Louisa Brady commented, “With a global presence in nearly 20 countries, meaningful conversations with our people around Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) are our priority. We have rolled out several initiatives that have yielded positive outcomes, helping Yinson to foster a culture where our employees feel valued, supported and empowered to perform their best at work.”

The Company has progressively introduced a myriad of initiatives including the implementation of its DEI Policy to promote an open and inclusive work environment, championing global advocacy movements such as the International Women’s Day and empowering young leaders at Yinson to make a difference through global forums such as the One Young World Forum. Yinson shares these activities on its LinkedIn page, which received high engagement and support from both the employees and public.
