Yinson has been accorded with the Silver Award in the General Award category at the 2024 Australasian Reporting Awards (“ARA”) in acknowledgement of high standards of reporting reflected in its 2023 Annual Report, themed ‘Inclusive Transition’.
For the third consecutive year, Yinson has been honoured with this prestigious award, which serves as a testament to the rigor and transparency of our annual report. Adhering to internationally recognised frameworks, including the Global Reporting Initiative (“GRI”), our report aligns with the ARA criteria, ensuring that we meet the highest standards of disclosure. Such standards guide Yinson in providing a comprehensive report that presents a balanced view of economic, environmental, and social performance, enable performance comparison, and address stakeholder concerns.
Yinson’s 2023 Annual Report highlighted the progress of our strategies and value creation journey related to our material topics. This approach aimed to provide greater clarity on how the Group manages its risks and opportunities to help our stakeholders make better and informed decisions pertaining to the Group. Additionally, we have broadened our external assurances to encompass the Sustainability Statement, along with emissions and renewable energy data. We have also carried out comprehensive enhancements to our internal processes, which bolster our capability to monitor and disclose ESG-related data more effectively, in accordance with the updated GRI standards.
