Yinson is proud to be part of the Malaysian delegation at COP30, held in Belém, Brazil, where global leaders convene to accelerate climate actions. As an Advisor to Malaysia’s Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability (NRES), Yinson plays a strategic role in shaping the agenda at the Malaysia Pavilion, supporting national efforts to spotlight climate resilience, green growth, and regional cooperation.
COP 30 also marks a historic milestone with the debut of the ASEAN Pavilion at COP30. Yinson joins regional partners in conducting a review of the ASEAN Common Carbon Framework (ACCF) initiative, a key step in harmonising carbon markets across Southeast Asia. The session reflects ASEAN’s collective ambition to build transparent, high-integrity carbon markets that drive real climate impact.
Yinson’s contributions are grounded in close collaboration with our partners Malaysia Carbon Market Association (MCMA), Singapore Sustainable Finance Association (SSFA), Thai Carbon Markets Club (TCMC), Indonesia Carbon Trade Association (IDCTA), and ASEAN Alliance on Carbon Markets (AACM), working collectively to advance the development of regional carbon markets, climate goals and initiatives.
As Malaysia transitions its leadership role within ASEAN, Yinson continues to champion regional climate and economic integration
