Yinson’s new base in Oslo has opened on 31 May 2022 and is the headquarters to our Offshore Operations and Renewables divisions. The move caters for the Group's strategic expansion, providing an effective regional base to execute current and future growth plans.

The building's design concept prioritises collaboration, work-life balance and employee wellbeing, with ample breakout areas, quiet rooms, a shower room and washing facilities as well as shared access to bicycle parking to promote sustainable commutes to the office.

A grand opening ceremony was held to commemorate the new workspace that was attended by colleagues from Yinson's international offices – including Malaysia, Singapore, Nigeria, and Brazil. Representatives from key stakeholder groups including vendors, brokers, bankers, and partners were also present. Chief Executive Officer of Yinson Production Flemming Grønnegaard thanked the Oslo team for completing the new office project, which would serve as a new platform for the next phase of growth for the divisions.

The event was followed by a celebration and appreciation for the long-service employees, with 10 award recipients receiving a personal message from their direct line managers as well as a token of appreciation for their service.

The party was complete with scrumptious food, pleasant company, good music and a breathtaking rooftop terrace view overlooking Aker Brygge and is just 4 minutes from the Nationaltheatret train station.
