Yinson Production Ghana has successfully completed its fourth phonics training programme for 100 teachers representing 95 schools within the Ahanta West Municipality. This initiative forms part of the company’s ongoing efforts to enhance early childhood literacy and strengthen foundational learning.

The training equipped teachers with practical methods to deliver phonics lessons, supporting young learners as they develop essential reading and comprehension skills. By improving the quality of literacy instruction at the early stages, the programme aims to promote long-term academic success for children in the region.

Teacher participation remained a strong highlight of the initiative. Their engagement and willingness to collaborate reinforced the importance of continued investment in educator development.

In addition to the training sessions, Yinson Production Ghana supports literacy efforts in the municipality through its sponsorship of the Annual Reading and Spelling Bee Competition for basic schools. Together, these programmes demonstrate the company’s sustained commitment to education and community development.
