Yinson is excited to announce that applications for the Yinson4Youth (“Y4Y”) Grant 2026 are now open!
Now entering its third year, Yinson continues its commitment to empowering young changemakers who are dedicated to creating positive social and environmental impacts across Malaysia.
Since its launch in 2023, Y4Y has supported four organisations, reaching more than 750 beneficiaries and four communities. Building on this momentum and recognising the growing number of impact-driven organisations and innovative projects in Malaysia, Yinson is proud to expand the programme by supporting a maximum of four grant recipients in 2026.
Each recipient will be awarded funding of up to RM50,000 and benefit from tailored mentorship from Yinson professionals, helping to strengthen and scale their initiatives.
Focus areas:
Eligible projects must contribute to one or more of the following United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs), which Yinson strongly champions:
- SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being
- SDG 4: Quality Education
- SDG 5: Gender Equality
- SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy
- SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth
- SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure
- SDG 13: Climate Action
- SDG 14: Life Below Water
- SDG 15: Life on Land
Who should apply?
Yinson welcomes applications from:
- Non-profit organisations (NPOs)
- Non-governmental organisations (NGOs)
- Social enterprises
- Societies registered with public or private tertiary education institutions in Malaysia
The majority of the project team must be youth aged between 18 and 30.
Application timeline
- Application Period: 11 November – 10 December 2025
- Review Process: 15 – 19 December 2025
- Final Pitch to Selection Committee: 6 January 2026
- Grant Signing Ceremony: 27 January 2026
- Project Implementation Period: February – August 2026 (flexible depending on scope and scale)
